Golf in the Winter?!
Yes you can - without even traveling south, and all to support a great cause! Join CAP Services as they host a fun, casual event to raise funds and awareness for their Skills Enhancement program!
Sharpen your putting skills that may have gone rusty at one of the putt-putt golf holes; work on your swing on the golf simulator; or play one of our many other golf-related games -some take skill and some are just for fun! Talk with representatives from area golf courses and get tips from local Golf Pros to help improve your game once spring rolls around!
So golf is not your thing? No worries - there are many prizes to be won; raffles; fantastic live and silent auction packages to bid on; great music; and more. An assortment of hot and cold appetizers and desserts will be served throughout the night, and cash bar is available. Enjoy beer and wine tasting and sample locally-made products from a number of CAP-supported businesses throughout Central WI.
The Golf Inside Outing is the primary fundraising event for CAP's Skills Enhancement Program, which provides financial assistance and holistic support to people working in low-wage jobs in Outagamie, Waupaca, Portage and Waushara Counties, so they can obtain the skills and confidence needed to compete for living wages in high-demand fields.
CAP Services' mission is to bring about a permanent increase in the ability of low income individuals to become economically and emotionally self-sufficient.
